| Chelfyn and I have two kits - called Muff and Milo. They are Ragdolls and unlike any cats I have ever known. Big, fluffy bundles with beautiful blue eyes that don't scratch, love having their tummies rubbed and go floppy when you pick them up. They follow us round the house, and have never killed a fly, they just paw them for a while. |  |
When we got back from the UK Milo had a bald patch on his side. It was so square, I thought that someone might had shaved him for a laugh. It turns out that he missed us so much that he has been overgrooming. It's a stress related Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and the vet has prescribed Kitty Ritalin. I feel like a terrible parent. Thank goodness I'm not having kids!
P.S. The Kitty Ritalin just made him withdrawn so I left him to it. I just distracted him if I caught him over-grooming. After threats of making him wear a babygro or kitten lampshade, he finally grew out of it.
