"Our tranisition from anonymous English family to New Zealand celebrities was as rapid as it was exciting, here's our story in brief: In June 2003 the Napier City Council launched the "Win A LIfe in Napier" promotion. The prize was substantial enough - 6 months living, working and playing in beautiful, sunny Napier, house, car and employment included - to gain international media attention. It also gained the attention of small family in Reading, England. With humble hopes we entered the competition, along with 2700 other families.To cut a very long story short - WE WON! So here we are, living our new life in Napier!"
