The World Wide Whine
I've been Blogsurfing and it really is the World Wide Whine out there. The amount of angst and navel gazing is incredible. Apparently the term for this is 'blogorrhea' -incessant prattle about your jerk boss or second-rate love life. I've also realised that I can't penetrate TXTspeak as some of them are completely unintelligable. But I did come across this gem:

heh..do you mean whining about the state of the world, or about trivial inconveniences? i have only looked up blogs a couple of times, one of which yielded yours, and i was surprised at the amount of american blogs around the time of the election that were talking about the new season of the "OC" or "Dawson's Creek" or these other horrible teeny dramas on TV. the human capacity for microcosmic thinking is amazing..
