An Interview with DJ Baxter

One of New Zealand most loved DJ's, Baxter has been spining tunes since he was 16. His first gig was in 1993 and was a fundraiser to send 20 drag queens to Japan. Voted no 1 DJ by Metro Magazine in 1998, Baxter's compilation mix CDs have achieved platinum sales in New Zealand.

Baxter's debut release 'Outburst' is now out on TMet Recordings with more releases in the pipeline. I caught up with Baxter recently to talk about the early days of his DJ career, legendary Auckland club Sinners, and making his own music.
