I'm now happily car-free and taking the summer off before we move to Wellington in a couple of months. I'm really looking forward to living in the city centre again with everything on our doorstep.
For now we're shopping online and it's been compeletely stress free, with no traffic or parking hassles. I've had a car for nearly twenty years but from now on we're going to try hiring as we go. I've booked a Wicked Camper for Kiwi Foo Camp in February, and we'll get something big and comfy for the move south later this summer.
Until then I am happy to kick back and enjoy the balmy weather, sort through my fabric stash and dust off the sewing machine. Happy holidays New Zealand.
