about

I am Managing Directrix of Mohawk Media, an international keynote speaker on creativity & innovation, and a XMediaLab mentor. I report on technology and geek culture for the g33k show, am a permanent judge in the NZ Yahoo!Xtra Digital Strategy Awards and a member of the Creative Commons Aotearoa and DigitalNZ advisory panels.

I lived in the UK until 2001 working as an internet trainer, community producer and online editor for the European Commission. I was also a stage manager and Theatre & Circus performer at Glastonbury Festival for ten years, and married my husband Chelfyn on the Pyramid Stage in 2000.

After a lifetime of creative eccentricity and geekery I was finally diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome / High Functioning Autism (HFA) at the age of thirty seven. For discussions about life on the autism spectrum I recommend: wrongplanet.net
